Nicole Lindsay

Nicole is a senior lecturer and researcher affiliated with the Centre for Indigenous Psychologies within the School of Psychology at Massey University, New Zealand. She completed a PhD on the topic of near-death experiences (NDEs) and continues to regularly publish on the topic. She also has interest and expertise in other anomalous/spiritual phenomena including end-of-life experiences (ELEs), mystical experiences and other extrasensory experiences that defy Western scientific rationalisation. She currently holds national and international research grants exploring topics such as the psi-related dream phenomena associated with NDEs, plant sentience, and supervises several PhD and master’s students exploring other exceptional experiences. She also has a keen interest in Indigenous psychologies, particularly those related to mātauranga Māori.
